The Perry City Council approved a development agreement with the Greater Dallas County Development Alliance at their regular meeting Monday.

The Council approved the development agreement which will provide annual appropriation economic development payments to the Alliance in the amount not to exceed $200,000 in aggregate which is not a general obligation of the City but payable from incremental property tax revenues generated in Perry’s Urban Renewal Area.

Also, the Council approved a pay application for the wastewater treatment facility improvements, certifying TIF debt to the county auditor, accepting the annual urban renewal fiscal year 2021 report, fiscal year 2021 annual report and approving the fiscal year 2021 Iowa Department of Transportation street finance report.

Finally, the Council set a time and date for a public hearing on proposed reprecincting boundaries of December 6th at 6 p.m. and approved a professional service agreement with Bolton and Menk for the Wiese Park improvements.
