U.S. Congresswoman Cindy Axne

A local lawmaker praises the latest Build Back Better Framework Act Bill that is in the legislative process. 

U.S. Congresswomen Cindy Axne says she is in support of the framework bill that will cost $1.75 trillion that will help working families by reducing the costs of precipitation, universal child care, create good paying jobs and more. She says this bill will cost the taxpayers $0. 

“ we’ve got  55 profitable companies that have paid zero, zero in taxes.”

Axne states that this bill would allow the Internal Revenue Service to audit the top earning Americans and increase tax rates for large corporations. She says this bill helps states like Iowa the most with a large size of the population not in the top one percent wage earners.
