One week of Greene County High School girls’ basketball practice is in the books for first year head coach Tori Ogden and her players. The Rams return senior post player Brianna Habben from the 6-13 squad of a season ago, but not much else in the way of varsity experience. Habben averaged 10.8 points and 9.2 rebounds as a junior and earned second team all-conference recognition in the Heart of Iowa Activities Conference.

The Rams scrimmaged in Jefferson on Friday with West Central Valley under the direction of veteran head coach Dan Druivenga.

Greene County opens the season on Monday, Nov. 29 at Ogden as part of a girl/boy doubleheader that can be heard on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com.
