While the Panorama Panthers football team didn’t make the playoffs this year there are still seniors who played their last down of football for the Panthers this season.

The Panthers came into this season looking to replace some of the production it lost when last years seniors graduated from a team that made a postseason push but fell to the Pella Christian Eagles last year in the second round of the 1A playoffs by a score of 21-19.

The Panthers ended up finishing their season this year with an overall record of 1-7 on the season and their last game against the Nodaway Valley Wolverines ended in a loss by a score of 36-14 and marked the last game with the Panthers for multiple seniors.

This year’s Panorama Panthers football team had 11 seniors including Hunter Pauley, Austin Block, Kyle McClatchey, Joseph Nelson, Gavin Godfrey, Wyatt Carstens, Nile Lindstrom, Josh VanWinkle, Cooper Andersen, Brice Taylor and Jared Wasson.

While the Panthers will be losing multiple seniors when this years class graduates in 2022 there will still be plenty of underclassmen who can step in next year to fill the roles of the current senior class when the Panthers take the football field again next season.
