Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers wrestling will be opening their season on Monday with hopes of putting together a great year, as they have some key experience along with youth returning as well. For coach Chris Hatchitt, his team will look forward to getting on the mat for the first time as they will have three plus weeks to prepare for their first match of the season.

Two state wrestlers will be returning for the Tigers who made it to the state tournament last year, with junior Ben Smith qualifying as a sophomore at 132, and junior Jake Alexander, who was able to qualify at 106. Those guys along with a few others will be hoping to find a way to Des Moines, but improvement is key throughout the season, and how much work put into the offseason will be important for the Tigers development overall.

The first matches of the season for the Tigers will be happening in the first week of December, with hope of of seeing good progress at the varsity and JV levels as well throughout the year.
