West Central High School honored military veterans with a Veterans Day Program Thursday. 

The program included  performances from the choir with the  singing of the National Anthem, the high school band played “Anchors Aweigh” and the Drama and Speech Club performed their play called “Bystander 9/11.” There was a presentation from the Quilts of Valor Foundation honoring two veterans who served. West Central Valley History Teacher Ben Adkins says this is a great way to get the community involved.

“To actually have veterans from the community come in and be honored at our school and see history in action.” 

The event was held at the West Central Valley High School gym.
