For one local organization in Perry an upcoming event has a preregistration deadline coming up soon. 

The Perry Booster Club 5K Tinsel Trot will be taking place with registration at 10 a.m. and a 10:30 start time on November 27th, but if you want to guarantee yourself a t-shirt the preregistration deadline is November 14th. 

The cost to participate is $30 for adults and $20 for students and will start outside of Raccoon Valley Bank. There will also be prizes including most festive adult and student as well as photo opportunities with Santa Claus. 

There are multiple ways to get your registration form for the event including stopping at the Perry High School or Middle School, McCreary Community Building, Snap Fitness, Ben Franklin or the Perry Perk, as well as online here.
