The Guthrie Center and Panora Chambers Of Commerce are  asking residents of Guthrie County to support local businesses at their three day “Heart of Guthrie County Holiday Showcase” from tomorrow till Saturday. 

Committee Member Vicki Crannel says the chamber member businesses of Panora and Guthrie Center will participate. Crannel says this is a perfect time to shop locally. 

“We want to bring locals into the local businesses so they get to see every that is available right there in Guthrie Center and in Panora and it starts out the holidays. So it’s a great time.”

Additionally, there will be free horse carriage rides at the Panora Town Square from 5pm to 8pm on Friday and at State Street in Guthrie Center from 10am to 1pm on Saturday. Also there will be raffles to win chamber bucks at any participating chamber member business .
