For Dallas County there were various races for the city/school elections and the unofficial results are in. 

According to the Dallas County Auditor’s Office, for Adel the contested race for mayor was between the incumbent Jim Peters and John Sparling. Peters won the race with 65-percent of the votes with Sparling garnering 34-percent of the votes. 

Also, for the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn School District there were two seats and five candidates. Bart Banwart was the incumbent and received nearly 33-percent of the votes, Kale Smith received just over 15-percent, Melissa Dohlman received 23.7-percent, while Shanlyn Doll received 14.88-percent and Ross Freeman received 13.14-percent making Banwart and Dohlman the school board members. 

For Perry there was a contested race for the Perry School Board with two seats and three candidates. The incumbent Kyle Baxter received 25.7-percent of the votes, Eddie Diaz received 40.4-percent and Travis Landgrebe received 32-percent making Diaz and Landgrebe the school board members.
