The Panorama Panthers boys basketball team is preparing for their first regular season action at the end of this month when they head back out onto the court.

The Panthers boys will head back out onto the court at the end of this month hoping to replicate their successes from last year where they finished the season with an overall record of 18-5 as well as a good conference record of 12-3.

The Panthers will be looking to replace production from the outgoing class of 2021 because last year’s team had 14 players who were seniors and won’t be out on the court again this year. The Panthers will be looking to find production in other places this season.

Last season the Panthers boys team averaged almost 62 points per game while opposing teams averaged just over 51 points per game. The Panthers shot 41.4-percent for field goals and 34.4-percent from beyond the arc last season.

The Panthers were successful in the postseason last year as they advanced all the way to the Class 2A substate 8 second round game last year where they faced off agains the Van Meter Bulldogs at the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn High School in Adel but lost a heartbreaker against the Bulldogs by a final score of 57-55.

The Panorama Panthers boys basketball team will get out on the court for the first time this season when they take on the Mount Ayr Raiders beginning at 7:30 p.m. November 30th at Panorama High School in Panora for their first home game of the season.
