AC/GC will face a common opponent for the quarterfinals of the Iowa High School football playoffs.

The chargers will play Van Meter for a chance to go to the Semifinals of the Iowa High School football playoffs in the UNI-Dome. Van Meter is the chargers only loss this year 41-7 on October 15th. AC/GC Head Coach Cody Matthewson tells Raccoon Valley Radio about his philosophy coming into this ball game Friday.

“And were going to now take the things we did really well against Van Meter and were going to build off those into the week and take the things we didn’t do so well and fix those and if we do those things and play a really good game, play physical, take care of our responsibilities and  play discipline we will give our self a shot.”

Matthewson also discussed how its the sixth time his seniors have played Van Meter and fifth time on the road in Van Meter so it will be familiar territory.
