A reminder about a kick-off to a new program series with Thomas Jefferson Gardens is tomorrow.

The series theme of “Understanding Democracy” will have the first section tomorrow about the media and the First Amendment starting at 2pm at the Thomas Jefferson Gardens Welcome Center in Jefferson. The guest speaker will be the Iowa Freedom of Information Council (IFIC) Executive Director Randy Evans. The IFIC seeks accountability at all levels of government. 

The free program is open to the public, with social distancing standards and masks are strongly encouraged to be worn. No pre-registration is necessary.
