A reminder about a local event allowing participants to work with various prairie seeds is today and tomorrow in Perry.

Participants will collect several types of prairie wildflower seeds that will be processed to be grown this winter to then be transplanted into established as well as new prairie reconstruction areas next spring. The program will take place at the Forest Park Museum in Perry.

The program will run from 1:30-3:30 p.m. both today and tomorrow. Those attending are asked to bring gloves and all the necessary supplies will be provided. The program is also weather dependent and no registration is required.
