With Halloween weekend officially here there are plenty of places in Dallas County for families to go trick-or-treating. 

Today will be Beggars Night in Adel from 6-8 p.m. and Dallas Center will have a Halloween parade at 3:30 p.m. followed by arts and crafts in the park from 4-6 p.m. and Beggars Night 6-8 p.m.

On Sunday Minburn will be hosting its Beggars Night from 5:30-7:30 p.m. around the community and a trunk or treat will be set up in front of the Minburn Public Library during that same time. Also, Dallas County Sheriff Chad Leonard encourages safety during Halloween this weekend including wearing reflective clothing, having a cell phone and flashlight if possible as well as inspecting candy once it is brought home and staying together.
