Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Tigers cross country sent runners from both the boys and girls side to Fort Dodge Friday to compete in the Class 3A state cross country meet with the runners turning in good times.
The Tigers sent one individual runner for the girls to Fort Dodge in junior runner Geneva Timmerman. Timmerman ran well with a time of 19:06 which earned her second place overall at the meet as the runner up to state champion. Timmerman turned in a good showing for the girls side and will look to compete next year for that state champion spot.
For ADM the boys team placed 13th overall with runners Cooper Greeneslade coming in 12th with a 16:35, Quinton Kimrey came in 33rd with a 17:14, Torin Timmerman came in 88th with a 17:57, Ryan Entriken came in 107th with a 18:19, Grant Vandevoorde came in 113th with a 18:28, Hunter Landphair came in 115th with an 18:30 and Hubie Chaplin came in 118th with an 18:35.
While the ADM Tigers cross country season is officially over there is plenty to be excited about as the teams will look to come back next season, get out on the courses and turn in more good times to get back to the Class 3A state cross country meet next year.
