During the coronavirus pandemic some programming has been difficult for local libraries, and for the Adel Public Library, they are hoping that it will return soon.
Library Director Trever Jayne says they are planning for programs to return in the near future as it has been difficult to offer to the community since the pandemic began.
“We are hoping to resume after school programming probably within the new year. So, we are kind of shooting a target for ourselves in January for more after school programming which is something that we really haven’t been able to offer very much of.”
Jayne tells Raccoon Valley Radio that while there hasn’t been much after school programming, retired library director, Paula James, comes in and does an after school program once a month and the library is looking to add more normal programming in the near future.
“We just look to continue to add everything that we can, everything that is asked for.”
