WCV football coach Jim Lindsay sat down with me on the Wahl McAtee Tire & Service Center Guthrie County PM Sports Page to talk about the 2021 season.
After talking about their win over Shenandoah to end the season. Coach Lindsay was asked if he saw progression in his team after going from 1-7 in 2020 to 4-5 this season. Coach Lindsay said, “You know, I think so. There’s a lot of work to be done between now and next season. We’re definitely headed in the right direction.” Lindsay would continue, “It’s just one step at a time, but I think we’re headed in the right direction now.
The Wildcats were only a few plays away from the postseason. That’s one of the few hurdles they’ll have to overcome in 2022.
