AC/GC prepares to hit the road and travel to Lake City to face South Central Calhoun in the second round of the Iowa High School football playoffs.
The chargers are coming off their first home playoff win against South Hamilton 40-22. The hawks had no answer for Senior Gavin Cornelison who ran the ball 37 times for 333 yards rushing, 6 touchdowns and 10.5 tackles. Seth Reno and Ben Marsh added fumble recoveries. AC/GC will have a tough task trying stop the rushing attack of South Central Calhoun who has had a total of 18 different players carry the ball for 1,800 yards and 30 touchdowns.
The 8-1 chargers will take on the 8-1 Titans today here on Raccoonvalleyradio.com or on KKRF-2 with pre game coverage starting at 6:45 and kickoff at 7pm.
