The WCV girls cross country team had a great 2021 season. However, it isn’t over just yet.

This Saturday, Taitlin Koch is on her way back to state. This is the second straight year that she will be running in the state meet. Last year, Taitlin finished 78th out of 133 runners. Her time at the meet was 22:10.1. While it might not have placed where she and the Wildcats might’ve liked. Her place and time were still impressive as a freshman.

Now, as a sophomore Koch will look to finish at the top of the list on Saturday. The Class 2A girls will be running at 10:30am. The meet will be at Kennedy Park in Fort Dodge.
