Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Tigers cross country will be looking to put together a strong meet tomorrow when the runners compete in the 3A state cross country meet. The conditions at Kennedy Park could be interesting for the runners, as they will be dealing with conditions that could be cool, soggy, and windy as well.
Temperature wise the mark is not ideal for the runners tomorrow, as they will be looking at competing in temperatures that are expected to be in the high 40s low 50s. Wind could play a factor with 15-20 miles per hour, and with rain today and yesterday as well could create a running surface that could be a little soggy for the runners. Traditionally, the course is one that will run quickly, but with these factor of things, things could prove to be more difficult tomorrow.
Runners that show a good amount of grit and determination will have a higher look at having a good time on the day.
Geneva Timmerman will be running at 2:30 pm tomorrow and the boys team will be making a run at 3:15 pm.
