The challenging 2021 season came to end for WCV volleyball last week.

The Wildcats struggled all season. Going into the match up with Earlham last week the Wildcats were 6-17. They were up against the Cardinals in the Class 2A Region 4 Quarterfinal. They battled in a Best of 5 series. Earlham jumped out to an early win in the first set, 25-12. WCV would rally in the second set but lose a close one, 25-19. Down 2-0, WCV fought back in the third to win 25-23. However, the Cardinals would end up taking this one in the fourth, 25-12.

The Wildcats would end the season 6-18 for 2021. A lot of hard fought close losses, something they’ll hope to improve on in 2022.
