ADM Tigers cross country is continuing to gear up for their state cross country meet at Kennedy Park in Fort Dodge on Friday, with the Tigers hoping to put up some solid numbers. One of the things that the Tigers focused on with their 2021 schedule was competing in outstanding meets against great competition, with hopes of preparing them for this race.

The Tigers faced excellent teams throughout the Raccoon River Conference on the year, with the Tigers ranked ninth in the final iowarunjumpthrow.com, with North Polk 3rd and Carlisle 10th in that same poll. The girls side has four ranked teams with Ballard 4th, North Polk 5th, Gilbert 9th, and Carlisle 11th.

In individual rankings, girls runner Geneva Timmerman is ranked 4th in the latest 3A poll while senior Cooper Greenslade is 17th and senior Quinton Kimrey is 27th on the boys side. Two North Polk runners are ranked on the boys side while 4 runners are ranked on the girls side.

In other competition, ADM runners have seen a lot of ranked teams and individuals in other races as well, as they should be battle tested for this final race.

The 3A race will be happening at 2:30 for the girls with the boys to follow at 3:15.
