The Perry Police Department responded to a vehicle pursuit Tuesday after an officer attempted to make a traffic stop in Perry. 

According to the police department at approximately 4:15 p.m. Tuesday an officer attempted to make a stop on a Dodge Dakota, driven by 42-year-old Mark Edward Dugan of Perry, at 14th Street and Otley Avenue in Perry when Dugan began to flee eventually going eastbound in the westbound lane of Highway 141 before turning onto M Avenue and eventually was apprehended.

Dugan was apprehended and no injuries were reported from the incident. The Dallas and Boone County Sheriff’s Office’s also responded to the call.
