For one Perry High School organization, trick-or-treating this year won’t just be for gathering sweet treats.
The Pulse Dance Team will be out trick-or-treating for items to stock the high school food pantry. The donation drive is in tandem with the Iowa State Dance Team Association and is a statewide initiative.
The dance team will be out in the community on Beggars Night in Perry from 6-8 p.m. looking to get needed items for the high school food pantry rather than the normal sweet treats.
For those who can’t be out trick-or-treating this Friday donations can be dropped off with high school counselors or any dance team members until October 31st. The teams who collect the most supplies will be recognized at the state competition in December.
