For youth in Guthrie County wanting  to learn what it takes to be a babysitter Guthrie County Extension and Outreach is hosting a program. 

Babysitting Basics is a program that teaches participants about babysitter responsibilities, what employers expect, caring for infants and young children, appropriate toys, how to handle emergencies, basic first aid and rescue breathing and more.

The program will be at the Guthrie County Extension Office on November 6th from 9am to 3pm. The cost of the program is $10 and for more information and registration contact the Extension office at 641-747-2276 or email Mollie Clark at clarkm@iastate.edu to register.
