The high school volleyball season is over for the Greene County Rams. Coach Chris Heisterkamp’s team finished with a 16-13 record, the first winning season since 2011. Greene County was 4-3 in the Heart of Iowa Activities Conference, good for fourth place.
We look at team serving today as final statistics for the 2021 season have been released. The Rams were 1,338 for 1,482 serving for 90.3%. They had 148 ace serves, and generally, a team serving percentage of 90% is considered proficient.
Greene County had six girls with at least 175 service attempts. Sophomore Graci Cooklin served at 95.4% with 20 ace serves. Junior Katrina Heupel was at 93.9% with 36 aces, while junior Natalie Heupel served at 91.5% with 26 aces, freshman Emma Ewalt 91.4% with 33 aces, junior Alexa Peters 88.3% with 11 aces, and junior Bella Schroeder 78.3% with 19 ace serves.
