The Jefferson Rotary Club has announced a return to mostly normal conditions for its annual charity auction.
The civic organization has decided to do a hybrid format with online bidding and an in person auction. Online bidding will take place November 13th-19th, while the live auction will be at the Greene Room events center at Wild Rose Casino and Resort in Jefferson on November 19th. Some online auction items are available for viewing now and you can use the website to register for the in person event as well.
The past 22 years, the Jefferson Rotary Club has raised over $600,000 for local projects and organizations, as well as the Rotary International Foundation. Additionally, with Rotary celebrating its 100th anniversary next year, the group is focusing on major projects, with the first recipient of the Centennial Major Project fund going to the dog park, which is adjacent to the new Greene County Animal Shelter.
