
For those in the community looking to get rid of outdated or unused medications, the Perry Police Department has a special program happening today.
Perry Police is taking part in the Drug Enforcement Agency’s National Drug Takeback Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at the police department. People can drop off any prescription medication or over the counter medication free of charge.
There is no need to remove the pills from the bottles or remove the labels, however no needles or inhalers will be accepted.
