
The drought conditions are looking better in some parts of the Raccoon Valley Radio-listening area.
According to the latest U.S. Drought Monitor, The majority of Dallas, Guthrie and the Southern portion of Greene counties are in a moderate drought. Additionally, a large portion of Greene County is in a severe drought.
According to the National Weather Service, since the beginning of October through this past Friday, Perry has received 1.19-inches of rainfall, Jefferson had 0.88-inches of rainfall, and Guthrie Center saw 0.9-inches.
