An event on Sunday will celebrate Springbrook State Park and all of the Iowa State Parks. 

A 1930 Ford Model A Tudor Sedan will be making seven road trips over the course of 158 days to visit all 92 of Iowa’s State Parks. The public is invited to the caravan that will meet up at the Guthrie County State Bank in Guthrie Center at 3:30pm. Motorists will be asked to drive together to Springbrook State Park. Then at 4pm, there will be a brief program and guided tour. Participants are encouraged to bring their family and picnic.
