For those looking to implement solar panels in Panora for a source of energy for their household the city has recently approved a new ordinance followed by an application process and agreement. 

Panora Mayor Patrick Parker explains how the solar power energy ordinance will work. 

“If a customer puts in solar panels as a city we have to be prepared to buy back the extra energy that they produce above and beyond what their normal residence needs?.”\

Parker says they have not had a request yet but the ordinance was established in case a resident puts in a request. For more information on the ordinance or an application for solar power.
