Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers volleyball was looking to pull of an upset of a top 10 team in Bondurant-Farrar on Thursday night in Class 4A District 2 semifinal action, and they were unable to do so falling by the score of 25-12, 25-17, and 25-18. ADM ends their season at 16-12 and Bondurant-Farrar moves to 31-7 and to the championship game next Tuesday night, where they will take on North Polk.

ADM was not able to sneak up on the Bluejays Thursday night, as Bondurant-Farrar was able to take control of the match from first serve, playing their style of hard hitting and attacking the ADM back line all night long, while also slowing the Tiger offensive attack to force 26 hitting errors on the night to 23 team kills.

Marissa Gerlemen was able to lead the Tigers with eight kills on the night, and fellow sophomore Madison Siefken able to tally fifteen assists on the night. The Tigers were able to tally 65 digs on the night as sophomore Makayla Crannell was able to have 13 digs on the night to lead the team. Siefken was also able to chip in with 12 of her own as well.

Tiger volleyball will be saying goodbye to two seniors in outside hitters Campbell James and Katie Cullen, but will be returning the majority of their roster for a team that put up some great numbers throughout the year as the Tigers will look to reload.
