As school districts continue to navigate through the school year during a public health pandemic, the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn School District has managed COVID-19 well so far this year.
Superintendent Greg Dufoe says while the coronavirus pandemic is still present, it isn’t affecting the way the District handles operations.
“It’s part of what we do but it certainly is not impacting our day-to-day operations in terms of servicing kids and providing opportunities for them.”
Dufoe tells Raccoon Valley Radio the District’s mitigation plan returns to pre-COVID conditions because of wanting to place an emphasis on teaching and learning this school year.
“We are continuing to do that and it’s going very, very well. So, really, I really can’t ask for it to be any better than it’s going right now so that’s a really good thing.”
Dufoe adds COVID-19 is going to be part of everyday life.
