The Dallas County Board of Supervisors approved a time and date for public hearings at their regular meeting Tuesday. 

The Board approved a public hearing for  9:30 a.m. November 2nd for the MidAmerican Energy Trindle Park Underground Electric Easement. Also, the Board set a time and date of 9:30 a.m. November 9th for another public hearing on the fiscal year 2022 budget amendment. They also approved disallowing disable veteran homestead tax credit for a specific case of someone whose address did not qualify for the benefit. 

Also, the Board discussed the future county and court space needs which involved what future growth in Dallas County may be as well as discussing what similar counties are doing with their court space, but no action was taken. 

Finally, the Board received an opioid litigation update and then the meeting ended in a closed session to discuss pending litigation.
