The fall season is underway and that allows Panora residents to burn yard waste. 

City Administrator Lisa Grossman explains that the City allows for tree trimmings and yard waste to be burned on a homeowner’s property. Grossman says that while owners are allowed to burn in their yards, they can also take advantage of the city’s yard waste dump sitey.

“We allow people to bring their brush to the city, the only thing we do not allow there is like leaves.”

Grossman says that property owners cannot burn trash on their property. She adds that the dump site is located near the City’s water plant.
