ADM Tigers volleyball knew that they had an a good challenge against the Dallas Center – Grimes Mustangs on Thursday night in Adel, as they looked for their first win since 2016. The Tigers were able to find it, as they were able to win in straight sets 3-0, winning 25-18, 28-26, and 25-19. The win moves the Tigers to 14-7 on the season and DCG to 12-19, as it was a big win for a young Tigers team.
Senior Campbell James was on a mission on Thursday night, as she was able to put up a terrific 17 kills on the night, as the Tigers got 43 team kills to only 12 errors from their attackers. Freshmen Madi James was able to have 24 digs on the night, with junior Brylee Person chipping in with 13. Sophomore Madison Siefken was able to tally 29 assists on the night.
ADM was able to cruise to a first set victory before a wild back and forth second set was able to be captured by the Tigers as they were able to dictate play throughout the rest of the night.
For ADM, they will finish up Raccoon River Conference play next Tuesday against Carroll as next week will be the final week of the regular season for volleyball.
