Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers volleyball has a big game on Tuesday night against the Winterset Huskies in Adel, but unfortunately weren’t able to come away with the victory falling by the score of 3 sets to 0, 25-22, 25-23, and 25-15. The loss drops ADM to 13-7 on the year and Winterset 14-3.
The match went back and forth as Winterset was able to barely pull off sets one and two before getting a massive third set to put away the match. The Tigers were strong on the night offensively as they were able to get 30 team kills on the night while also committing 24 hitting errors as well.
The Tigers were able to get 53 team digs on the night, as points were long and intense, but couldn’t make enough pays down the stretch to pull off a win.
The Tigers will be returning to the court tomorrow in Adel when they host their Dallas County rival in the Mustangs of Dallas Center – Grimes, as ADM will be looking for a key match victory against their rival.
