A memorial service for Tonya Anne (Moon) Walrod, age 59, of De Soto will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home – McCalley Chapel in Adel. Family will greet friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, before the service at the funeral home. A visitation will be held Friday, October 8, 2021, at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home – McCalley Chapel, where family will greet friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Tonya is survived by her husband, Michael (Wombat); her children, Jennifer (Jeremy) St. Peter, Kyra (Rob) Hatch, Meagan (Nathan) Roberts; her step-daughter, Alicia Walrod (Mike Fagerstrom); her grandchildren, Taylor, Jaxson, Connor, Annabelle, Gavin, Norah and Henry; her siblings, John (Thanh) Moon and Chuck Moon; her aunts, Bertie Gilbert and Jackie (Jerry) Meyer; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents; and her father and mother-in-law, Bud and Lee Walrod.
