Public safety officials responded to a call for a structure fire early Monday morning in Redfield. 

The Redfield, Dexter and Adel Fire Departments along with Dallas County EMS and the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call for a structure fire on Redfield Street in Redfield at approximately 3:25 a.m. Monday morning. 

According to the fire department, a garage had caught on fire and caused damage to the attached home’s living room and kitchen, but the house was unoccupied and no injuries were reported. The garage is considered a total loss while the house sustained significant damage as well.
