Vintage and modern automobiles will soon be making their way into Perry for an annual event for people to see a variety of vehicles. 

The Fifth Annual Car Show in Perry will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on October 9th. Perry Economic Development and the Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) Perry VanKirk Career Academy are co-sponsoring the event. 

Classic vehicles are presented by the PerryDice Cruisers and will be on display, and free dash plaques will be given to the first 100 cars at the event. Also, the free event will have representatives from the VanKirk Career Academy available to speak about career and educational opportunities.

There will also be various employers from the manufacturing, health-related fields and education available at a career fair.
