Greene County goes to Roland-Story High School in Story City tonight for volleyball, but instead of a dual meet with the Norsemen, it’s the R-S Norsemen Invitational. Eight teams are in the field with BCL-UW, Marshalltown, Newton, Ballard (Huxley), PCM (Monroe), and South Hardin (Eldora) in the field, along with Greene County and R-S.

South Hardin is the lone rated team in the field at number 4 in Class 2A. Other teams with winning records include Greene County (9-5), R-S (15-4) and BCL-UW (7-6).

Coach Chris Heisterkamp’s team has already won more matches than the 2020 team did (eight). Greene County has played three teams in the field earlier this season with a victory over PCM and losses to South Hardin and R-S.
