It’s Homecoming Week in the Greene County School District. Several days of activities that began Sunday will continue into the weekend. The Rams (4-1, 2-0), face Red Oak (2-3, 1-1) at Linduska Field on Friday night in the homecoming football game. The action can be heard on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com with kickoff at 7 p.m.

Head Coach Caden Duncan told Raccoon Valley Radio he wants the players to enjoy the festivities while keeping their focus on Red Oak and winning the football game. “This is a much improved team over the one we beat twice last year, but even though we won both by fairly wide margins, we trailed 14-0 in the first quarter the first time we played them down there.” The Tigers had a losing streak of 21 games they broke earlier this season.

The Rams have won four straight and are ranked in most Class 2A top 10’s. Greene County has allowed opponents a total of three points during the winning streak.
