A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle this past Wednesday night while crossing a road in Perry. 

According to the Perry Police Department a pedestrian was crossing the street in the 1200 block of Third Street from east to west at 8:33 p.m. and a driver of a northbound vehicle on Third Street struck the pedestrian knocking them to the ground and causing minor head injuries. 

Perry Fire and Rescue and Dallas County EMS responded to the call and the pedestrian was transported to the Dallas County Hospital.
