The Iowa State Parks is having its annual volunteer day tomorrow and Springbrook State Park is involved.
Volunteer day is where 20 state parks ask for volunteers to help clean up parks around Iowa which include activities such as litter pick-up, harvesting prairie seeds, painting shelter buildings, clearing trails, and more.
Springbrook State Park is asking for roughly 20 volunteers to help repair, stain and seal picnic tables and work in the pollinator plots. The event will start at 9am and meet at the campground Gazebo and for more information down below.
What to Bring: Bring gloves, rake, garden trowel (if you have one) and a water bottle. Wear old clothes
