It was Exira/Elk Horn-Kimballton visiting Paton-Churdan last night in Rolling Valley Activities Conference  volleyball with the visiting Spartans winning in three sets. Coach Makayla Sparr’s Rockets lost by identical scores of 17-25, 17-25, 17-25. P-C is now 1-4 on the season and 0-4 in conference play.

The coach reports Paige Teeples led in kills and in ace serves with six kills and four aces.

Next on the Paton-Churdan schedule is a road match vs. Glidden-Ralston in Glidden on Sept. 30.
