The Panorama Panthers Volleyball Team is preparing for a full slate of matches tomorrow as they will be participating in the Southwest Valley Tournament at the Southwest Valley High School in Corning.

The Panthers are heading into the tournament this weekend with an overall record of 5-6 and will be looking to get their record back above .500 on the season. Head Volleyball Coach Joanne Sandage says there will be a full slate of action tomorrow for the Panthers which may help to continue working out kinks in the Panthers game.

“We actually go to Corning and we’ve got five games this weekend. So, that’ll give us a little bit of experience coming into the later half of our schedule.”

With the large number of games that will be taking place this weekend Sandage says throughout this week there has been plenty of preparation including working on fundamentals among other things, but Sandage says it’s difficult to prepare to face multiple teams.

“It’s hard to like prepare just particular teams because we are playing five teams so we will kind of focus on our game, being more offensive. It’s really hard to prepare for five different teams.”

The Panorama Panthers Volleyball Team will be looking to get more matches in the win column tomorrow when they take part in the Southwest Valley Tournament at Southwest Valley High School in Corning beginning at 9 a.m.
