Dallas Center – Grimes is looking to get their first win of the season tonight when they open up district play as they welcome the Winterset Huskies to town, as they look to pick up a victory in their 2021 homecoming.  DCG comes into the matchup with a 0-4 record and Winterset at 3-1, as the Mustangs will be hoping to start off district play on the right foot.

Both of these teams played last year in Winterset with DCG barely escaping with the win, but the Mustangs will be facing a Winterset program that has settled in nicely through the few weeks of the season, and the Mustangs will have to be keen on stopping the run tonight if they are looking to take a victory.

DCG has lead in the last couple of games against quality opponents but haven’t been able to close out the game, so playing 48 minutes of focused football will be key to a victory tonight.

Kickoff will be happening at 7 o’clock tonight in what should be a tremendous environment, as Mustang football will look to end their losing streak and enter into the win column tonight.
