Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers volleyball was looking to be sharp in their one and only game this week at Boone on Tuesday, and they were, picking up a solid 3 sets to 1 victory 27-25, 26-24, 15-25, and 25-8. The win moves the Tigers to 10-3 on the season and drops Boone to 5-12 on the year in a match that was extremely close the first few sets before the Tigers dominated the last set.
The Tigers were able to get double figure kills from Marissa Gerlemen with 13 and Campbell James who was able to chip in with 10 as well, as the Tigers had 35 team kills on the night. ADM have five different players in double figures in digs as they were tough defensively throughout the night, with Madi James able to tally 20 for the Tigers. ADM was also able to get some help from the service game as they had 11 aces, led by Brylee Person who was able to grab four in a standout effort.
ADM will have more matches next week as they can be satisfied with a solid match this week, with hopes of seeing more improvement in upcoming matches.
