ADM Tigers boys and girls cross country competed down in Creston Tuesday afternoon in good conditions, and they were able to get some positive results, as they were able to find a boys team first place finish and the girls third, while getting individual champions on the boys side in Cooper Greenslade and on the girls side in Geneva Timmerman.
The boys were able to put up a nice score as they finished with a team score of 29 as they were able to put all five of their scoring runners in the top 11 in a solid race. Greenslade was able to grab that first place time with a run of 16 minutes and 36 seconds, and Quinton Kimrey able to be right behind him with a second place performance of 17 minutes and 24 seconds.
The girls were able to finish with a team score of 79 in their third place finish, with Timmerman able to grab a time of 19 minutes and 41 seconds, tallying another victory on her season.
ADM will have more practice time before they return to the course next week, as the Tigers have been able to put some great numbers in the month of September.
