The Guthrie County Auditor’s Office is currently accepting absentee ballot request forms now until October 18th for the upcoming city-school board elections in November. 

Guthrie County Auditor Dani Fink tells Raccoon Valley Radio what someone should do if they want to request an absentee ballot. 

“If voters want to request an absentee ballot request form they can call our office at 641- 747-3619 and we will mail them their request form. Also they can stop in person (to the office) and get it for them as well.” 

Fink says that someone could pick the request form up for someone else. 

She reminds everyone that Iowa law does not allow for them or any political organization to do mass mailing of ballots.
